Upcoming Workshop - Sunday 6th SeptemberSelf-Lymphatic Drainage Massage Workshop
Sunday 6 September
10:00am–11:30am
£45 per person
Only 8 spaces available
Learn how to support your lymphatic system through gentle self-massage, movement and everyday wellbeing practices in this practical 90-minute workshop with Root to Heal.
We’ll begin by looking at the basic anatomy and function of the lymphatic system, including where the main pathways and lymphatic areas are and why pressure, direction and rhythm matter.
I’ll then guide you step-by-step through a full-body self-lymphatic drainage routine, demonstrating each technique before we practise it together.
During the workshop, you’ll learn:
The basic anatomy and function of the lymphatic system
Where the main lymphatic pathways and areas are located
The correct pressure, rhythm and direction for gentle self-massage
Techniques for the face, neck, arms, abdomen, legs and lower body
How to put the techniques together into an easy routine you can repeat at home
Other ways to support healthy lymphatic function through movement, exercise, hydration and everyday habits
General dietary considerations that can support overall wellbeing
Traditional herbs and remedies commonly used as part of lymphatic and digestive self-care
You do not need to remember everything on the day.
You’ll leave with your own take-home booklet containing the full routine and supporting information, so you can confidently continue practising at home.
You’ll also receive:
A reusable travel hydration cup with lid and straw, designed to encourage you to keep hydrated throughout the day
A hand-blended herbal tea blend to take home
Simple ideas for creating refreshing infused drinks as part of your daily routine
Everything you need during the workshop will be provided.
This is deliberately a small, hands-on workshop with only 8 spaces available, allowing plenty of time for demonstration, questions and individual guidance.
