Choose the focus of the foraging walk, would you like to learn about medicinal plants and trees, or are you more interested in the folklore, myth and history of local plants and areas? All groups are privately booked and can be as easy or hardcore as you like.

Prices start from £60 ph and can be for up to 8 people. You pay for the instructors time rather than per person.

Foraging & Herbalism lessons for home-educated Children

Give your child the chance to connect with nature, learn practical life skills, and discover the hidden magic of plants. Our Foraging & Wild Plant Lessons are designed especially for home-educated children, offering hands-on learning in a fun, supportive outdoor environment.

Below is the list of lessons for the first half of 2026 (we will take a break in Dec & Jan as all the plants are in bed, saving their energy for spring time). From Jan I will be offering Mondays. We adventure every other week as our foraged items need time to dry and gives the children time to make their items in between lessons. Groups are sized up to 6 children (plus the parent)

Lessons are £9 each and last between 1 hr and 1.5 hours depending on numbers and walking speed of the group.
