🌿 Foraging & Wild Plant Lessons for Home-Educated Children

Give your child the chance to connect with nature, learn practical life skills, and discover the hidden magic of plants. Our Foraging & Wild Plant Lessons are designed especially for home-educated children, offering hands-on learning in a fun, supportive outdoor environment.

Each session follows a simple rhythm:
Part One: Children use the plants they foraged and dried last time to make something useful — it might be a tea, tincture, balm, or salve — while learning how it supports health and wellbeing.
Part Two: We head outside to meet a new plant, learn how to identify it safely, and harvest it to dry and prepare for the next session.

🌱 What children gain:

  • Practical skills in plant identification and herbal making

  • A deeper connection with nature and the seasons

  • Confidence, creativity, and curiosity

  • Gentle science, history, and wellbeing education woven into each lesson
