Somatic Massage Therapy

This deeply transformative two-hour treatment begins at the scalp and flows through the body, pausing at key emotional release points. Using a unique blend of connective tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release, we gently guide the body to let go of any emotions that may have been stored in the nervous system since a traumatic event—sometimes many years ago.

The release can feel different for everyone: you might experience tingles, shifts in temperature, a feeling of tightness, butterflies in the stomach, or a deep sense of lightness. It doesn’t always involve tears, but it always works with your body’s own rhythm and readiness. This therapy is especially powerful for those who find it hard to revisit painful memories or who are holding on to long-standing grief. It’s a beautiful, restorative experience that offers relief without having to relive the story—just a safe, nurturing and gentle letting go.

I truly recommend it to anyone seeking to let go of any emotional blocks, overflows, or simply want to move on if you are feeling stuck.

As this is a new and completely unique treatment, I understand that you will/may have some questions before deciding to book. I am always at the end of the phone (unless I’m massaging of course) to answer questions, so please drop me an email, message or WhatsApp.

We go through a thorough consultation first for the massage aspect and then the emotional aspect, anything you expect to come up or would expect to spend more time in letting go of. Then we get started with the treatment itself. We communicate the entire way through with me checking in on how you are and you can tell me any sensations or changes you can feel at each release point. Some releases are pretty physical and I will be able to see your muscles shaking and twitching, which is a fantastic sign of your body saying goodbye to those stored emotions.

At the end of the treatment we go over what your experiences were and you leave with a self care package to carry on the healing after you are home.
